Pinhole Photography

Shutter
 Shutter is a device that allows light to pass for a period of time, to expose photographic film to capture a pernament image of a scene.

Apeture
Apeture is an opening through with light travels. In photography this can be measured in increments called f-stops.

Exposure control
The size of the apeture and the brightness of the scene controls the amount of light that enters the camera during a period of time , and the shutter controls the lenght of time that the light hits the recording surface.
